megra's mom was going to be late for dinner tonight, which is common for her mom and tuesday. since her mom was at work it was megra's unspoken duty to get dinner heated up, to set the table, do the dishes and take care of the house. zach was in his house and we is bored so he was walking, with a notebook and pen, around trying to find something to do, or inspiration for a song, when he saw megra setting her table. megra is wearing a white dress and converse, seeing her in a dress is a very rare thing, but unfortunately for her, it is the only clean piece of clothing she has after spilling on the clothes she was wearing at school. megra's kitchen has a big window instead of a wall, and zach's entrance has a little hall with closets behind it, and instead of a brick wall there is a window and a little ledge big enough for someone to sit. zach is walking there and from this hall he can see megra's every move in the kitchen he decides to sit down and watch her. she has given him some inspiration, and he wants to watch someone he loves. while watching her he is thinking and every so often writing a couple of lyrics down. zach sees her setting the table and he smiles because he knows some people look for different things in girls, some look for that she can take care of the home, which zach doesn't look for, but when he gets married he also doesn't want to have to do all the house work, he doesn't want to make her do all the house work all the time either, but he want someon willing to help out with a smile, and that is what he sees megra doing. eventually megra's dad comes down and they eat. megra and her dad don't always see eye to eye on a good amount of things, but they get along well. this is partially due to the fact that megra is a person who likes to deal with personalities, she is a good judge of people's personalities, and she is a great judge of emotion, which helps her with relationships, especially with her dad because she quickly learned what to say when, how to say it how to push things, and how to respond. zach looks and sees her dad is reading a magazine and eating while megra eats and every so often her dad points to the magazine, which he can tell is some hardware so some sort magazine, and talks to megra. through the whole meal megra has a pleasant face one. a face that says she isn't jumping for joy, but at the same time she isn't having a bad time either she is purely content, plain and simple. zach sees this and realizes that is one thing he loves about her, the fact that you could sit with her for ever say nothing, never feel the need to say anything, but you would still have a great time just being in each others company. this is something that most girls don't understand, and most guys don't want, but it is important to zach and he realizes how important it is to him when he is watching megra with her dad. he could watch her all day, but he hears his mom call him for dinner so he gives her one last look just as she looks directly at him, and she waves, he waves back and walks to dinner.

i knew what he was doing, i wasn't going to cuddle up to him for support if the movie was to scary. i had my brother. . .

justin sighed and pressed the play button. i grabbed the bag of sour patch kids and struggled to get it open because my hands were all buttery from the popcorn, so were christian's. justin was the only one that hadn't pigged out on the popcorn like us, so i sighed and turned to face him.

before i can say anything, christian paused the movie and got up from the sofa and turned to look at us, from the look in his eyes, i could tell it looked like an awkward position. i quickly pulled way and started laughing. i started picking up some sour patch kids. christian eyed me weirdly.
