as part of a greater movement with no real center or name, the common ground youth coalition is interviewing leading young change-makers to create a snapshot of what young people are doing for their generation nationally, and globally. the goal is to showcase young people from all walks of life who have been successful at making a change in the world, in any sector - public, private, political, religious, social, cultural, non-profit, etc. we hope that our collective work can demonstrate how youth can solve today's issues, work across traditional boundaries, and inspire others to do the same. maya enista joined the mobilize team in july 2005 as chief operating officer of a small non-profit. today, she is the chief executive officer of a growing and innovative millennial organization whose mission is to improve democracy by investing in millennial-driven solutions. at 26 years old, maya is a veteran in the public service sector, beginning her non-profit career 8 years ago. maya has been active in public service since she was an undergraduate at rutgers university, focusing mainly on voter empowerment and youth civic engagement. she began her career as the east coast coordinator for rock the vote at age 17, a position in which she registered over 30000 young people. through her work with rock the vote, maya was awarded the first ever rock the vote "rockin' the street's" award. she continued her voter registration work when she accepted the position of national field ltbgt...lt bgt

based on the ps3 interactive story. - a request by several and it's difficult to argue that a narrative this personal, this tight, but also this deep would be a welcome addition to filmmaking. this was one of my most challenging requests to date since i decided to approximate the whole thing using live action footage. - the experience of the game would be lost in translation, but the cinema offers a whole new venue of experiences and storytelling opportunities. - the story concerns several people who seem to have little in common a grieving father, a mysterious woman, a veteran private detective and an fbi agent. these ordinary people find themselves all involved in the case of a notorious serial murderer of children dubbed the origami killer because of his habit of leaving origami figurines on the chests of his victims. the father's son has been kidnapped and is feared will be the killer's next victim, and his quest to find the boy plunges him into a series of deadly tests to prove his love, tests which will throw him into contact with the other characters in this drama even as they go about their own lives. there's no magic or monsters here and the minor science fiction elements amount to nothing more then forensic tools. heavy rain is first and foremost a character piece and manages to prove real life can be a harrowing adventure by itself.
