this shot is from just outside the village on the north side. i'm about 20 feet from the seawall on a boardwalk. well, standing on the cement side of a bench on the boardwalk. at the very beginning of this clip, you see the community centre. and yes, that was a rather large beaver at the left. at the half-way point, you can see more of false creek and then downtown vancouver, the plaza of nations, bc place, burrard inlet and science world. and more beaver. the category for this video is people amp blogs because approximately 1 4 of the housing here will be for people with low incomes. originally it was supposed to be much higher, but the cost of the village became greater than expected, so some of the low income apartments had to be given up to help cover the costs. oh well. poor people can still come and visit. -
