احکام زندان آرش و کامیار علائی و همچنین سیلویا هاروتونیان، متهم به «تدارک برای برندازی نرم جمهوری اسلامی»، امروز توسط دادگاه تجدیدنظر تهران تایید شد.
آرش و کامیار علائی، دو پزشک که در زمینه «مبارزه با بیماری ایدز» و «افزایش آگاهی عمومی درباره این بیماری» فعال بودند، تیرماه سال ٨٧ دستگیر و بعد از ٧ ماه بازداشت، توسط شعبه ١٥ دادگاه انقلاب، به ترتیب به ٦ و ٣ سال زندان محکوم شدند.
هارتونیان، محقق سازمان بین المللی آریکس تحقیق روشهای زایمان، مرداد پارسال دستگیر و همزمان با برادران علائی و در همان شعبه، به ٣ سال زندان محکوم شد.
رابرت وود، سخنگوی وزارت امور خارجه آمریکا، امروز از قوه قضائیه ایران خواست تا سیلوا هاروتونیان، شهروند ارمنی تبار ایرانی-آمريکائی را فوراً آزاد کند.

مهدی کروبی، رئیس مجلس ششم، کاندیدای دهمین دوره انتخابات ریاست جمهوری و دبیر کل حزب اعتماد ملی، عصرروز دوشنبه با ارسال نامهای به شورای نگهبان، به سخنان اخیر احمد جنتی در بین ناظران شورای نگهبان و در حمایت از احمدی نژاد به شدت اعتراض کرد.
به گزارش سحام نیوز، کروبی در این نامه شدید الحن به شورای نگهبان، اقدام جنتی را سرپیچی از سیاست اعلام شده از سوی رهبری عنوان کرد.
کروبی اقدام جنتی را تغییرماهیت شورای نگهبان از نهادی قانونی به حزب سیاسی دانسته و نوشت: «این حق را برای خود قایل هستم که از سلامت انتخابات نگران باشم. در واقع، هنگامی که پیر شورای نگهبان از نامزدی خاص در جمع ناظران دفاع میکند، از ناظران جوان آن چه انتظاری میتوان داشت که جز این دریابند که باید همان فرد خاص برنده انتخابات ۲۲ خرداد باشد.»
