the weather had been dismal all morning amp the angry sound of thunder errupted. the rain had gotten very heavy, and just like every day a 4:00pm, the traffic was horrendous.
with the swishing of the non-stop window wippers, the penetration of the rain hitting against the screen, and the loud moans of mother nature, fitted together perfectly. the dizzy radio singnal was becoming dodgy, so now was i not only bored, annoyed and cold, but i was also, unsatisfied.
the enraged people in the vehicles around me, continuously pipped there horns, and shouted out of there windows, risking to get wet. we weren't gonna' budge, end of.
i tapped away at the steering wheel, and gave a loud miserable sigh, when my eye caught the same pair of legs that had been staring at, for the past three days. i rubbed over the steamy window and saw pixie walking along the street, looking fed up, cold and extremely wet. i was taking the chance, so i gave the blocked, busy road another check, before i hopped out of the car.
the beeping of peoples cars only got worst, and i heard the odd phrase of ''get off the road jack'' run from the displeased people, behind the wheels of the cars, who were desperate to get home.
i pulled my jock jacket above my head as i ran, and as soon as my foot hit the pavement, i heard the slapping of water bounce from off of my high top sneakers.
''pixie'' i shouted, trying to over come the noisy sea of convulsed objects around me.
her body calmy turned around, she squinted her eyes, as the water from the sky tryed to enter them.
''what'' she yelled. the water was running down her face, just like she had took a shower.

tyler suggests to 1 patient, tommy fisher corey johnson, that she put him beneath hypnosis to find out something he couldn't keep in mind from the preceding night. under the hypnosis, fisher says that he got woken to see the owl at his window yet again. it disappears as his door opens, and he goes into hysterics before tyler can snap him out of it. terrified and unwilling to reveal what he got observed opening his door, fisher leaves. that night, the cops are called on the fisher household to find out that fisher is holding his wife sarah tyne rafaeli and their two children pavel stefanov and kiera mcmaster hostage, refusing to discuss the scenario with anyone other than tyler. she arrives, and whilst she attempts to calm him down, fisher begins screaming in a language that tyler can't understand and demanding that she inform him the meaning of what he is saying. when she cannot supply a translation, fisher shoots his wife, their children, and himself. sheriff august will patton interrogates tyler as to whether or not she believes her hypnosis therapy with fisher that day was in relation on the shooting. when tyler doesn't see a connection, august becomes enraged and tells her to cease her studies of sleep deprivation plus the hypnosis on her patients. after returning home, tyler grabs her tape recorder and can make notes over her patients, falling asleep whilst the recorder is still on.
the subsequent morning, tyler arrives at operate. campos is waiting for her, worried right after hearing with the fisher shootings. she ures him that she is all right, and hands her tape recorder to her secretary, asking her to transcribe it. in her office, scott stracinsky enzo cilenti, another of tyler's patients, and his wife cindy alisha seaton are waiting. stracinsky decides to become hypnotized despite the recent tragedy. throughout the session, he begins shaking and gagging, and tyler has a challenging time snapping him out with the hypnosis. when she finally does, he reveals that nonhuman creatures got invaded his room. the couple leaves moments before tyler's secretary enters and tells tyler that she can't transcribe the tape. curious, tyler and campos listen on the tape moments right after tyler finishes her notes and falls asleep, mechanical noises are heard followed by terrified, heart-stopping screams coming straight from tyler and a distorted voice speaking in an unknown language. she can't keep in mind anything that got happened that night and goes into denial, but discovers a bruise-like mark on her shoulder and scratches in the floorboards from her fingernails, as if she'd been trying to avoid somebody from dragging her out.
