it was 1991 and people were experiencing a recession and soaring interest rates. the citizens of this country were understandably frustrated and looking for someone to blame. they chose then prime minister brian mulroney ... and one very frustrated citizen decided it was time to do a little more than just complain. of course the effort to impeach was not successful but for a time it gave financially strapped and in some cases struggling citizens an opportunity for an ambitious if not entirely realistic distraction. really all they had to do was be a little patient. in less than two years with his approval rating having dropped to a canadian all time low of 10, the belegered mulroney avoided certain humiliation at the polls by retiring from politics in february of '93, leaving his party in such a state of disarray that in the election that followed under the new leader kim campbell garnered only two seats in the house of commons and out of power for the next 12 years.

michael jackson invited martin bashir into his home in what was promised to be a fair unbiased intervie knowing bashir had interviewed his friend princess diana, michael put his trust in him. what came out instead was a skewed, edited documentary intended to paint michael in a bad light. this program, "living with michael jackson" aired on february 3rd, 2003. bashir's narrative commentary on the documentary indicated that he was disturbed by michael jackson's relationship with children. however, while this documentary was being filmed, michael had his own cameramen film these interviews as well, which bashir was fully aware of. this footage shows a completely different story. this was called "living with michael jackson: the footage you were never meant to see." taking a look at the footage, you can see the contradictory opinions of bashir as compared to his opinions on the actual aired program. he in fact praised michael's fatherhod, stating "your relationship with your children is spectacular...your interaction with them is just so natural, so loving, so caring." yet, on the actual edited documentary his opinion was quite different, questioning that relationship and his role as a father. when michael jackson ped away on june 25th 2009, martin bashir himself admitted on live tv on abc that he had lied in the documentary. original air date: unknown approximately early february of 2009 revised today we originally had a decent video for this game, but at some point or another, the quality was trashed and unfixable when youtube was playing around with new encoding features and we didn't have the original file any longer. we deleted before getting any of it's stats. the only reason i estimate it in february is because i had at least one comment that suggested such from rang3r34 doesn't matter too much though the video has been revised at higher quality and all is as it should be i suppose. atomic runner is a pretty cool game for the sega genesis that was developed by the late data east. it's a somewhat revised version of the arcade original story-wise, chelnov: atomic runner. in this game, you play as a scientist named chelnov who is out for revenge when the deathtarians a group of aliens fatally wound and eventually kill his father. with his dying breathe, his father tells him that he must stop the deathtarians and his only chance is with a secret powersuit that was developed to be the ultimate weapon, complete with gadgets and upgrades. there's some more news though the aliens have kidnapped chelnov's sister, chelmi, as well. well, you've gotta save her and the world right right. so how are you going to do it by "running" of course. you see, while you have a powerful suit, chelnov quickly discovers that the claims of its greatness were highly exaggerrated by his dad. super ltbgt...lt bgt

one of my weekend excursions from guadalajara during my mexican language study trip in february of 2010 took me to morelia, the capital of the mexican state of michoacan. morelia is known for its huge collection of colonial architecture, which even includes a 17th century aqueduct. after a 3.5 hour bus ride in a luxury etn bus i arrived in morelia on saturday, february 13. my local guide by the name of rodrigo picked me up and we went on a double-decker tour bus of the entire city which gave me a great overview of this historic city. our sightseeing bus also stopped at the santuario de guadelupe, a spectacularly ornamented church with soft pink and white gold trim. once our bus tour was finished we walked through the towns centre which was full of people celebrating carnival. the streets were packed with revelers and traffic on the main street had come to a standstill. from here we headed to the museo del dulce the museum of sweets which features demonstrations of how sweets were made when they were originally introduced by spanish nuns during the early colonial times. extensive retail operations for gifts and sweets accompany the museum and a small café allows visitors to sit down and relax. after our walk through the downtown we drove up on a hill from which we enjoyed a magnificent vantage point to look over the whole city. in the late afternoon i checked into my hotel, the hotel catedral, which is located virtually opposite the impressive cathedral. the rooftop ltbgt...lt bgt
