the lizard seemed a bit frisky though i'd feel anxious with a group of kids knocking on the gl. that's one thing i can't stand is when the children try to get the animals to move by banging on gl cages. note: all of the reptiles on display were rescued as they were either kept illegally or grew too bigand dangerous to be pets. the sign on the wall states so. i'm glad they are trying to discourage people from keeping these guys as pets thinking they'd make a 'cool' pet. they shouldn't be kept as pets unless you know completely what you are doing and can provide them with the correct diet, environment and care. even so i feel they belong in the wild and not kept as a pet.
