this is a video interview with amy chow, md, senior resident at lucile packard childrens hospital at stanford. dr. chow, now age 31, was interviewed april 29, 2010, at packard childrens about the exciting news that she and the other women on the 2000 usa olympic gymnastics team have been awarded a bronze medal in the team compeion, ten years after the events. the international olympic committee announced wednesday, april 28, that they were awarding the 2000 bronze to dr. chow and her teammates because the previously announced medal winners on the chinese team were disqualified for violating the minimum age requirements for compeion.
